Why Some animals are more equal than others? VI

In honor of Abraham Lincoln's bicentennial

(It will be very difficult at first to understand the contents of this story as this is an abridged material of the life-long learnings of the greatest philosophers on politics, science, morality and religion to be applied in understanding the rise of tyranny in Burma and many similar countries. I do not tend to hide the fact that this story is an intellectual and informative weapon for the effective blow against the Burmese regime who exclusively has exploited these similar tools of political and social sciences in controlling the totalitarian society of Burma. The current world has two classes, the informed and the not informed. The rule of the game is the informed can rule and always win.)

Bodhisattva Wu Kong was eagerly asserting his dogma of the way of Great Vehicle Buddhism as certainly right; at least it is much more right than the way of Small Vehicle Buddhism Sect. He argued that the small vehicle guys, Theravadists, are sluggish and egoistic, only working individually for their exclusive higher achievement of one’s selves in spirituality, and all other merits and virtues as well. This egoism of Small vehicle path ignores the altruism for everybody else. For that reason, the society that follows the small vehicle path has less family and community spirit, less harmony and less fraternity towards each other, tending to create chaos in their lives and anarchy as ultimatum in their society, that is partly the result of their original wrongful acceptance for “some animals are entitled to be more equal than others”; however, the truth is already paradoxically and concomitantly in their mind, there has been unconscious smothering dissent, with unexpressed complaint with ferment: ” why some animals are more equal than others?”. Totalitarianism or tyranny is able to enjoy the most in Theravadas’ society as this customary norm doesn’t find any culpability against the greater liberty of the stronger and the more arrogant, and their superfluous entitlement of the more equal has to be taken for granted, at least for the least equal ones, and the more equal have their exclusive divine rights for the foolproof benefits from their past-life good merits of divination.

When the lower classes of Theravadists, the peasants, the poor, the oppressed with no sufficient education, have a chance to uprise against aristocrats of tyranny, their original vehement was often erupted into anarchy; the proclivity of lower masses for complete destruction of all classes is revealed as the rebels’ ultimatum: this is because, their original principle for the entitlement of one’s own nirvana has irreparable weakness, not able to give a cardinal solution like Mahayanists, who are able to create a sound, satisfactory hope and harmony for all in their entrenched principle since the beginning, “all animals must be set to be equal; no one else is left behind. Some animals can be never, ever more equal than others”. The original principle of Mahayanism has its own significance in philanthropy, whereas theravadists don’t or never bother to take care of this. For Wu Kong, it is that pathetic, morally depraved, self-righteous and insane status of a worldly rejected sect of Buddhism.

Lincoln needed to speak, “Mr. Wu, for my personal preference, I would choose to be a small vehicle guy, how small he is for your Great Vehicle Buddhism Bodhisattvas”.

Wu Kong began to be irritated as Lincoln didn’t seem to follow his thinking.

“Are you mad, Abe? You were the greatest ever liberator in the human world. And you don’t want to be great again here in Heaven. You have reached the top of the morality in the human world. The perfect moral path of the greatest ever unselfish souls of Bodhisattvas is now welcoming you. Why are you willing to pick up a small trivial stone when you are able to pick a greater choice?”

“Pardon me, Mr Wu. The reason is I am forced to choose the individualism of this small Buddhist guy’s moral path as some sort of the minimal worst to humanity, perhaps, even if it may not be the best. Because there is menacing danger to humanity in choosing your greater path. I admire your great vehicle guy’s attitude of serving for all others. However, I don’t believe that all animals are able to be set to be equal. I also never have believed that all men are created equal.”

Wu Kong couldn’t tolerate more. He waved his hand. A very long iron rod automatically descended into his hand. He was snarling at Lincoln, pointing his iron rod at Abe’s hat, looking furiously at Lincoln with irate eyes as if he were going to crush the demons on his escort journey for his master, Hsuan-Tsang to Buddhas’ land.

“Liar, traitor, pervert!! You are heard to admire the revolutionary leader, George Washington as your idol, the founder of America democracy. You are the 16th president of United States to take the oath that you must with utmost your effort to protect your Constitution of Liberty, that claims its core ideology as All men are created free and equal, condemning the divine right of the King of England as absurd. We, Bodhisattvas’ world now realize that you are a feigned evil: without believing in the principle you defended, you were merely pretending to protect this principle. Hypocrite! Now the tale of your honesty is that of a chimera!” Wu Kong is angry speaking at Lincoln.

“I might be too honest to speak like this, Mr Wu. Perhaps, the statement of Thomas Jefferson, all men are created equal might be already wrong. However, it was to be written, not because Jefferson really believed in the same way he was writing. He was just trying to describe an ideal abstract that might be never impossible, or might never be an ever accessible metaphysical goal for us.” Lincoln started explaining the paradox of democracy.

“Why Jefferson needed to write this if this kind of an ideal goal is inaccessible and this is a message of unpractical unreality then?” Wu Kong asked Lincoln, still tense with trepidation from his anger.

“Let’s us inspect closely on this matter and strive to understand together, Mr Wu. Of course, it could not be denied that, human beings are, like other things in the world, in many respects, very unequal. Nor should we doubt that this inequality is of great importance, and even in may respects most desirable.”

Wu got attracted by those interesting words, relaxing his grip of the iron rod that intended to kill Lincoln, “ The inequality is said to be shameful and immoral. Why this inequality should be desirable?”

Lincoln smiled at Wu, perhaps one of the very rare smiles from him among those melancholies of his hard life and those immature struggles of America.

“This is the same answer for my choice to become a small Buddhist man rather than a big Buddhist man, Mr Wu. Please remember that I honestly described to you that there is menacing threat to humanity from your good will of serving the others to become equal. On the opposite side, this small vehicle attitude has, at least no harmful danger towards humanity, even if its ambition and results might not be sky-rocketing that much like the sharp minds of Great Vehicle Bodhisattvas. Perhaps, it even can be a small germination of individualism that is a favorable factor for the foundation of democracy.”

“Abe, as a life-long atheist, or perhaps for your very late concession to Christianity, you may be far left behind in the mental matters of the religion. Let's me tell you one thing I am proud of Abe. Buddhism has allowed our Bodhisattvas the supreme moral authority of this universe. We Bodhisattvas have already asserted this all-or-none laws of Karma, that is the decisive force of the destiny of creatures for the fate of living in their better or worse worlds. We say that Karma is just your will, not anything else. You might be mocking us that we are sky-rocketing in our will of this ambitiousness for all animals to become equal. I don’t understand what the fault of this will is. Why this sky-rocketing will is imminent danger to humanity? If Karma is just the will, and if this will is good, everything should be good. If this will is the best, everything should be the best. We have the greatest faith in setting all animals to become equal and perfectly rational as if we Bodhisattvas are. This faith will make us immortal, never tired, never out of energy for getting to our ultimate goal, the utopia of all inclusive Bodhisattvas in their ultimate evolutionary forms of all human beings. By that time, this heaven door of rationality is open to all of us, undeniably, that is our incomparable and collective happiness of all sentient beings. What’s wrong with this kind of path affirmatively supported by our greatest will and imperturbable courage?”, Wu Kong started his defense for the assertion that his Buddha kingdom’s dream for all can be really certain by this great(est) will, as he is affirmative in his Buddhist principle of “ the will, (intention, precisely motivation) is the Karma (creative force)”.

Abe sighed. His melancholy on the ignorance America was still not finished in Heaven. He looked languidly at this motivated monkey Bodhisattva who had this mountain-high ambition for the final salvation of all beings. He said these words gradually,

“The problem is, Mr Wu, irrationality. It is the problem of irrationality”.

(To be cont. how the road to serfdom of the mankind is arisen from the creed of the mind-set of Bodhisattvas)

Why Some animals are more equal than others? V

In honor of Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday

The choice of new liberty is based on a universal MENTAL principle

The gust of wind was fluttering his long and disproportionate ears as Abe walked on. He was feeling that clouds below his feet were fleeting vigorously on their spree. He laughed to himself. The nation he left on earth was now able to take a new shape of liberty with a new birth of freedom for Yankees and Negroes, Yahoos and Indians, the rich and the poor, the have or the have-nots, the government and the governed. Nonetheless, the building of the new nation was to be carried on, strictly without any exemption for the violation against his timeless, universal mental principle, “with malice toward none and charity for all”!

Suddenly, a yellow cloud nearby played some art of somersault. The cloud went back and forth, up and down in a very swift manner as if a fast-paced asteroid was approaching the earth; the magic cloud was often rolling like a child dragon under the sky floor, often dancing beautifully like an immortal angel on the roof of the earth horizon. Abe saw, on the cloud, there stood a four-foot tall figure who was manning all these somersault performances, a handsome monkey with a large porous nose. Blazing rays of golden light were coming out from his salubrious eyes of meditation. The bright rays of his eyes came in touch with the wrinkled lines of Abe’s forehead. Then the monkey saw the man. “Welcome Abe, Great Liberator of mankind, to our Heaven of Rationality”, the monkey started greeting.

Abe tried to greet back but the monkey’s individuality didn’t care to listen him, and continued playing with his circus cloud. He started chanting a song in a satiable mood in his undue sense of liberty. His happy pet cloud was flying with a wasp’s sound around Abe, rhythmically with his song about empty logic.

The empty logic of Buddhism AND Calculus

The mind is the Buddha and Buddha is mind
Buddha is a line and Buddha is mind

Try to perceive!
Mind is a line.

The time is Buddha and Buddha is time

Buddha is a line and Buddha is time

Try to perceive! Time is a line.

There are zero-length lines on a line
Zero plus zero for infinite times
You will get zero and that is fine;

Zero is not a line, and why you get a line

A line is mind and a line is time

Buddha as well is a line,

You get the mind, you get the time,
you get Buddha,
that is not fine and that is not your mind.

The real line is a line that has no line

The real mind is a mind that doesn’t have a line.

That is called the real nature,
the real luminous emptiness of Dharma,

the origin of the species!

The monkey was so carefree and happy reciting his mantra song so completely forgets the presence of Abe, who he greeted just recently as “Great Liberator of mankind”. Abe was attracted by the concept of the zero-length lines described in the monkey’s song. Of course, there are infinite points to make up a line. The meaning of a point is that a point can’t be further split off. To be eligible for this criterion of not being capable for further split off, a point must have no measurement of length i.e, it must be a line of zero-length. If a point has some length of measurement, this is still not a point as it can be further split into smaller measurements. So there are infinite points (zero-length lines) on a line, and the paradox is how these zero-length lines add up to become a non-zero line, for zero plus zero should be always zero. Abe's education was commonly known to the people as defective. The little known fact about Abe was during his time in Illinois, he ever had seriously learned about calculus from a gentleman called Mentor Graham. Abe recognized immediately that the principle presented in the monkey’s song lies at the heart of the calculus. Why this orient monkey was able to enjoy this cardinal principle of calculus, and why he was able to regard this principle as understanding the luminous emptiness, and the origin of all species, and envisioning the Buddha, who as far as Abe knew, was the Great Enlightened Sage of Asia.

The meaning of Wu Kong (in “Journey to the West”)

“Mr. Somersault, as you are so expert in these displays of acrobats, I like to call you by this name. But it could be useful if I am able to know your real name”, Abe tries to get the attention from the monkey.

“My name has no subject, is just a description of nature prevalent in the origin of the evolution of all species. Or simply I am the origin of species”, the monkey stopped chanting his song and perplexed Abe by his mysterious words of wisdom.

“Are you trying to answer or question me, Mr. Somersault? Confessing my humble knowledge, I have no idea about the origin of species. But my birth friend, Charles Darwin, has been seriously working on this subject for many years. I hope he could give a satisfactory answer to our science world within a couple of years”

“Well, Abe, a couple of years from now, your birth friend, Darwin will change the history of human mind-set and thinking by saying that the original ancestors of human beings are monkeys. He still is making a mistake. You have great opportunity to meet me and be knowledgeable about the fact that I am the real origin of species”.

“If Darwin will say the origin of men is the monkey, and my eyes tell me that you are a monkey, and if you ever have confessed to me that you are the original father of Homo sapiens, why you say Darwin is still making a mistake?” asked Lincoln.

Third person knowledge of science vs. first person knowledge of Buddhism

“Because I am not an ordinary monkey, Abe; my name is called Wu Kong which means Awaking from Vacuity (Emptiness). I am a Bodhisattva who is guarding the door for this heaven of rationality. I have two other Bodhisattva colleagues, who guard this heaven door together with me. My colleagues call me “Great sage of Nothing” as I understand pretty well about nothingness of the universe, its forms, its beings, its origin, its cause, its relations and its ends. In my mediation, I am able to develop great psychic power to transpose the sun, the moon, the Mount Meru, Land of Indus and the Middle Land, and the universe, the Kama heaven, the realm of Brahmas, and even the Lord Buddha into nothingness"

" Amazing, Mr Wu Kong. I know an interesting logic of Greek mathematics called reductio ad absurdum that manages to disprove a conventional proposition by following its implication into a logical but an absurd consequence. Perhaps, we might not have been aware of. This logic might be applicable to prove everything as nothingness.", Abe interrupted Wu Kong who was arduously speaking about his knowledge of nothingness.

" We easterners might have probably gone much ahead of your learned logic of mortal Greek Mathematicians, Abe. While Greek logicians are toddling in their inquiry about the mystery of the universe, in sheer shyness and curiosity like the Chinese virgins whose feet were tied; our swift celestial wisdom about nothingness as the emptiness have explored from one Mount Meru to another Meru, one galaxy to another galaxy, one black hole to another black hole, from the earth to Heaven, from Heaven to the Brahmans' worlds, from the Brahmans' worlds to Nirvana, and from Nirvana to the underworld Hell, to and fro with our immortal souls, with our radiant travel in perfect liberty."

" You can say it again, Mr Wu. Please carry on", Abe encouraged the monkey Bodhisattva to speak more.

"The knowledge of Bodhisattvas in understanding the void of everything is too arcane and too disintegrating for the ignorant beings to be able to comprehend, as they are only capable to be perceptible about their shadowy forms and their illusory lives. Darwin will not understand the prajna parami (the perfection of wisdom) of our fellows. As much the best of his capacity could serve, Darwin is only able to develop a third person’s knowledge from his subdued experiments under badly strained duress of validity and consistency checks. Our inquest for the luminous wisdom of emptiness is the first person's experiment to be able to explore and penetrate unto the real nature of beings into its innermost depth, unshackled by verifiability and testability that are imposing willy-nilly on our human entitlement to be able to enjoy gaining our abrupt enlightenment in an efficient, economic manner. "

Abe had to speak, " Mr Wu, I could agree with you that truth should be explored into its innermost depth. But I am not sure that simplification fits in with the demand of the survival of our living things. As a spiritual person, I will be happy to live with the real nature as I am, but so far, I will be uncertain about that living in absolute simplicity becomes absolute truth by itself".

" Abe, This is the Heaven called rationality. Believe me, Abe. No human is able to be rational as though our celestial beings are. Please get rid of your old mundane ways of thinking where fabrications of language and relations of institutions prevail. Try to live with understanding of your true nature, radiate your compassion on sentient beings in your surroundings, and do believe in your heart the possibility of transcendental knowledge about nothingness as luminous emptiness. This simple mindfulness to perceive everything as nothing is the best way of living, Abe. Simplification will make your life unimaginably comfortable. The secret has to be out, that is to reveal that everybody can become a Buddha by simplifying everything as nothing. We neither need any life experience nor struggles, neither learning nor commuting, neither follies nor blunders to become mature by reviewing our lessons; but the perfect way of understanding your life is just to get an insight into a zero, and hollowness of yours, yourself and other selves. As a matter of fact, this awareness of emptiness is simple, but is beyond the simplest as it can't be simplified further. It is the ultimatum of truth, but not the truth of beings as it has no functionality in the sleep of mundane beings. This understanding of hollowness is the only way to immortality, Abe."

"Mr Wu. My humble knowledge in human life has never believed in immortal soul. I have always been a revolt against God until my dear eleven-year old son, William died during my hardest years in civil war. I started to feel the power of Him at that time, came to become suspicious whether did this Supreme He intentionally create such kinds of miserable melancholies in my life. At such great hurdles in the near end of my life, I was not sure whether had I surrendered to Him or not. I had won this war; without His will, is something possible; with His great will, everything might be possible. The only knowledge I could assert at that time was that I seemed to assert myself to believe that I didn't believe.

Nevertheless, I appreciate this great liberty for mankind in your Buddhism way of thinking that every soul is capable of becoming equal to a supreme state of immortal soul that is unreachable by us with respect to our Abrahamic religions; but the difference has to be revealed: I had recognized my equal by not believing the possibility of an immortal soul, a sort of negation in my humble humanism logic; but Buddhism recognizes everybody's equal by believing the absolute possibility of the immortal souls of the beings, obviously a sort of positive skewness in your belief for this entitlement. The meanings of both conceptualizations are at the extreme ends opposing against each other, while they are serving the same purpose of realizing that all animals are equal, and not an animal's soul has the unjustifiable right to claim its divination of more equal than others. If we only want to take this good purpose, and this purpose as justifiable and good, the real problem might not be lying at arguing whether the ideal goals are feasible or not, but to find out together what are the ways to serve this good and just purpose of equality in our humanity, rather than ultimate reaching of these goals."

Monkey Wu Kong was surprised at Abe's speaking. A lightning seemed to hit him. Wu Kong recalled his life.He was an avid learner most of his life time for thousands of years. With his great willingness to learn, he mastered dualism, mohism, confucianism, taoism and 72 transformations from the teachings of his immortal teacher, Subodhi. He accompanied Hsuan-Tsang, the Buddhist scholar monk who rose during the period of tremendous social and intellectual ferment of China after Sui Wen-ti founded the empire of the Sui dynasty by reunification of China. After meeting Buddha, he decided to walk on the path of a Bodhisattva.

"After great struggles in our journey to the West, my master Tripitaka (Hsuan-Tsang) , my two pilgrim brothers, and I reached the land of Buddha. I had a chance of seeing the smile of the Lord; I was so fond of his charisma. The Lord forgave all my naughty sins as an ignorant being. After that journey, my master, pilgrim brothers and I departed, pursuing our own ways for our responsibility in making good for all sentient beings. I chose to pursue the art of the meditation of empty logic; have come to realize nothingness as the origin of species and developed my heart great compassion over those ignorant beings who are not able to understand this nothingness as their luminous nature of emptiness and taken the vow of Bodhisattvas with unflappable determination to become a Buddha to enlighten those creatures. By this time, I have been waiting like two millenniums for this great chance to transform these stupid universal creatures as the clever ones to know the nature of emptiness; all these commitments lead me to guard the door of this heaven,” the Bodhisattva monkey ended his life biography.

The oath of a Bodhisattva’s office and Bodhisattvas’ paradox

“I am glad to know that you have so great genuine sincerity in helping the beleaguered creatures by taking the oath for this great office of Bodhisattva. However, I am curious why you are here to guard the door of this Heaven instead of going to help the people who are suffering on earth”, Lincoln asked the monkey Bodhisattva.

“I am here to guard the heaven door because I have the responsibility to stop you from going inside the heaven of rationality”, the monkey is honest speaking to Abe.

“My goodness! Why you like to stop me from entering this heaven?” Abe was surprised at Monkey’s response.

“Because Abe, you are a Bodhisattva like I am and as my colleagues are. The moral duty of our Bodhisattvas is to bring the ignorant people to this heaven of rationality, but not to be self-righteous by entering himself. So I am here to stop you from entering the heaven. You must also take the vow of Bodhisattvas to help those all irrationals on earth, Abe”, the monkey explained.

“My good heaven! That might be OK even though I don’t fully agree with you. I could be culpable as the selfish one if I alone have managed to break my ties from the Karma master and don’t bother to break the chains of other slaves. But how long should I commit to sacrifice my entitlement for access to this heaven in exchange for my mission in redemption for emancipating the sins of those worldly people”. Abe is right: every mission should have a time line plan and should not be like the agenda of the timeless, sloppy, trite UN’s resolutions on Burma.

“Let’s me honestly speak my opinion, commitment is merely a week tool of resort for coward earthy people, Abe, not the way of our celestial Bodhisattvas who have unflinching determination in wending our way to the goal of delivering these ignorant animals from the Kingdom of Maya. All Bodhisattvas take an oath for their obstinate resistance in overcoming every obstacle on their path of becoming a Buddha no matter how long this path should be lasting: that vow essentially means you will never enter nirvana until a trace of a shadow of an ignorant animal is seen suffering from its ignorance.

You are right, Abe. In your American presidential language, what we Bodhisattvas are aiming at is to reach the ultimate supreme goal where all universal animals need to be set equal, must become equal by becoming Bodhisattvas, delivered all selves of ignorance; enjoying all selves their perfect wisdom; completely free from the worldly desires; no longer unsaddled from the needs and the wants of their irrational mundane illusions of senses. We are not the association of aristocrats like those little vehicle Hinayana arahat guys, who have those sluggish aims to become noble ones just for themselves, tending to create an unfair, unbalanced society for our great vehicle guys’ questioning on the principle of fairness and equality to every one: “why some animals should be more equal than others?”

The apology of Burmakin V

Burmakin: Thunder and lightning are striking you, your majesty. You might be worn out by imprisonment, defeat of war and tragedy of love. However, even a guinea rodent in a merciless laboratory might find some way of escape from his running tracks. How do you manage to counteract Paharada’s thought experiment?

King of Angels: Well, my son. Thunder and lightning are striking me. Not for inflicting pain and humiliation but for dazzling my eyes! There is the beauty in our new war of critical reasoning if you have mercy neither upon yourself nor your prejudices. The critical arguments are enlivened under the sunshine if you hold that you might be wrong and your opponent’s thoughts might be fine.

Burmakin: This is not our Burmese taste, your majesty. Our Burmese tradition mandates that the seniors and honorable are always right. Buddhism is always right. Buddha’s Dharma is the complete resolution and the end to all human sufferings. We Burmese don’t need to do any thought experiment as we are the most nobly rewarded privileged people to know and practice Buddha’s Dharma. We Burmese don’t need to argue as we have no reason for progressing humanity as we are already in the end for this purpose.

King of Angels: Hey, my son. When you Burmese Taung Phi La abbot was reciting “the cause and effect doctrine” during his exploration for Buddha’s feet imprint in your Ava’s age, he asked a question to my Minbu guardian spirit. “Is the Dharma I am reciting the same as that original text of Buddha?” Did you remember what did the spirit feed him back?

Burmakin: His Dharma is looking like the smell of foul fish paste if the fish paste is packed with numerous layers of leaf packs. But the abbot insisted that his Dharma is perfectly the same as the origin of Buddha’s words. He even swore that a thunder should hit him and break his head into eight pieces if it was not so. Neither thunder nor lightning befell upon him; so thus, his argument seems to be right.

King of Angels: Hey my son. Every hour, every day and every where in your country, the pauperized, the starved, the disease-plagued, the imprisoned, the tortured, the enslaved, the outcast, the neglected, the treated unfair, all those beleaguered Burmese utter the same and iterative curse that my life-destroying weapon should shatter your demon king Than Shwe and his evil Queen Kyaing Kyaing’s heads into eight pieces. Nobody cares and I don’t care. Neither have I ever listened to this kind of your abbot’s arrogant swear.

Burmakin: Nonetheless, the abbot was venerable, your majesty. Even the guardian spirit appeared to approach him, bow him and listen to his sermon preach. The guardian spirit was one of the moral citizens of your illustrious deva kingdom, your majesty.

King of Angels: This is the abbot’s illusion, my son. My moral citizen approached him for admonishing that he was at a very immature level to understand the Dharma he was reciting. He was like the radio without life and any thought, that is exactly how your Burmese Buddhist monks nowadays, and throughout are practicing Buddha’s teachings. How unfair foul is this arrogant monk to compare himself with our unrivalled Teacher!

My moral citizen, the guardian spirit, was bewildered by this kind of an overbearing response, even if he sincerely told your Burmese monk to be aware of the nature in his human flaws, and the limits of himself as a human being. Since that time, my moral deva citizens have shut up their mouths in your Burmese land and turned their backs against you Burmese, my son. So have been our backs turned against the Sinhalese people who extravagantly thought and claimed that they are the only entitled defenders of Buddhism.

Burmakin: I now understand your majesty. The Buddhism knowledge of our human world is still immature and as young as it is. The irony lies in our vanity and arrogance: our Buddhist human races insistently imagine that we have abruptly got the enlightenment or enlightenment is just a one hand distant to our hands. If enlightenment had been that easy, the Bodhisattva Sumedha would not have needed to struggle that hard for a multiple of four for 10^140 years plus one hundred thousand eons in balancing his compassion and reason. The Teacher himself might not be so sure about his perspective for ultimate attainment of his Buddhahood, had he ever broken his pledge of his son Jali and daughter Kanhajina to Jujaka by killing this old bhramin that he couldn’t help conceiving it.

King of Angels: Right, what you Burmese Buddhists badly need is the humbleness for awareness of your limits as human beings, and forsaking of your obsessive indulgence in your schizophrenic historicism. In this scientific age of so competitive knowledge struggles, and the natural selection as the fittest to survive, the never tested strength for your Burmese is to fight utmost against those haughty illusions of your Burmese ego. Once your ego sways to the side of humbleness, the parasitic military dictatorship inflicted on your land created by your own Burmese heroic arrogance, yourselves, will no longer find any further place to stay.

The only enemy is your most intimate one that is yourself, my son, and nobody else. That is what Vesanntra had understood in doing his incredible act for the choice of renouncing his own children, that most people simply interpret is for the sake of others. As a matter of fact, the line of his rational reasoning has nothing to do with compassionate love upon Jujaka or others, but it is for his awareness and his combat with his intrinsic human flaw, that is the one-over-everything, love.

Intimacy vs. equanimity

The teacher told this story on the occasion of a lotus leaf shower…

Jujaka got up quickly, and spitting like the fire at the end of an aeon, the stick and creeper in his hand, he caught up with the two children, and shouting,

“You are too clever at getting away!’ he bound their hands and led them off again.

Holding a rope and stick, the bhramin led them away, beating them, while the Sivi prince (the Teacher) looked on.

As they were led away like this Kanhajina turned round to look at her father and cried out to him.

‘O daddy, this Brahmin beats me like a switch, as though I were a slave who had been born in his house. This is not a real bhramin, daddy, for bhramins are good men. This is a ghoul, disguised as a bhramin, who is leading us away to eat us. How can you just watch as we are driven away by an ogre?

At the sight of his little daughter going off sobbing and trembling, overpowering grief rose up in the Teacher, and his heart grew hot. His breath came from his mouth in gasps, for he could not breathe through his nose, and tears that were drops of blood poured from his eyes. Realizing that such pain overcame him because of a flaw in him, his affection, and for no other reason, and certain that that affection must be banished and equanimity developed, he plucked out that dart of grief by power of his knowledge, and sat down in his usual position.

(Translation from the oldest Pali Text of Vesanntra Jataka surviving today, the work of Margaret Cone and Richard F.Gombrich)

To be cont. The struggle of ego, why Buddha could call out to the evidence of Vasundre (Earth Goddess) for his entitlement of the Bodhi enlightenment by inferring his perfect generosity in the Vesanntra Jataka? Because the charitable prince had defeated his human flaw of agent-relative reasons.

Why Some animals are more equal than others? IV

In honor of Abraham Lincoln’s 200th birthday (Feb 12, 2009)

1865

He found himself in an unacquainted place. The clouds were strolling under his feet. In his surroundings, the girls who were looking immortally young, with their hair beautifully shaped in wigs, played the musical instruments that he had never seen. Something was swimming across in the air towards him. He recognized what it was. That was his old, shabby and worn out hat. He caught it up and put it on his head, pulling it down a little more on the right side until it covered up enough his life-long old scar at his right eye. Suddenly, a shrill ghostly voice appeared from some corner of this strange place, “Sic semper tyrannis” (Thus always to tyrants).

He started to notice a twilight that flashed at a mysterious place at some distance of his eye sight. He began walking towards this mysterious light. The shrill voice seemed to be getting far and far away as he walked forth. He wished this voice of evil nature should completely fade away. As the worn-out hat that topped his head, his life had been ruffled out since his very young childhood.

“All my life has a single cause, that is an apology for the government of the people, for the people, and by the people”, he said in remembrance of his past soul. He voice was full of melancholy. He started to blab out a few stanzas that his past soul adored the most,

“Tis the wink of an eye, ‘tis the draught of a breath,

From the bosom of health to paleness of death

From the gilded saloon to the bier and the shroud,

Oh, why should the spirit of mortal be proud?”

He remembered the beauty of the bouquet he dropped off at the tomb of Ann. He remembered the witted tease of Mary in her younger years. At last, he even remembered the denial he accepted at his age of 32 from a sixteen year old Sarah. All these have been left together with his past soul of soberness. No one was with him now in going to this mysterious twilight. He eagerly hoped that probably already late Ann should be there at this light source.

“Yes, honest Abe, no one from the past is with you. However, I have been with you, all the time”, he heard a very dignified voice. He saw a figure walking in the fog, steadily toward him. The figure was as tall as he was, around six-feet two inches, the shoulders were broad, the bones and joints were large, and the gait of the figure had no need to boast of the distinctive characters and strength of the figure person. He saw the figure’s face now: a well-shaped face with a firm chin, a prominent nose with blue gray penetrating eyes. His noble strong hand was holding a rosary wreath.

“O, Founding father, Washington”, he recognized the figure and stuck his head into the well-rounded chin of the figure and wept. Washington embraced him and padded his long back and mourned, “You are the second founding father of America, Abe”. Father Washington put the wreath on Abe’s head. Father Washington’s eyes were also welling up with tears. A loss of half a million people for a single cause late Abe had successfully defended and paid his life just recently, Not to become a house divided against itself!

“Where I am now, Father?” Lincoln asked softly. “You are at the front door of Heaven. There is a task that lies ahead of you, Abe”, explained Washington. Washington continued, “The Heaven here is called the immortal heaven of rationality. This heaven is different from the normal heavens where the ordinary mortal humans from earth are used to have faith in and are used to arrive. This is not the Christian Heaven, Islamic Heaven or Buddha’s Heaven where a monarch god is able to rule. This is the heaven of wisdom, compassion, temperance and mindfulness. For this heaven door to be opened, you need to debate and defeat the three monkeys who guard this heaven. Debate with them and crush them, and the monkeys will give the key to open this heaven door for you. That is your first task for our rejoining in Heaven, Abe”.

Abe said in ambiguity, “My past soul has never crushed any human life, Father. I have not ever sent a single soul of the Southern rebels to the guillotine. I never have killed an animal for sake of my food”. Washington smiled graciously, “If you don’t send these monkeys to the guillotine of irrationality this time, they will send the humanity to their guillotine of rationality in the future, Abe. For God’s sake and your duty as moral imperative, you need to crush these three greedy and irrational monkeys,” Washington padded Abe for the last time, waved his hand and disappeared.

(To be cont. Three monkeys Abe Lincoln has to crush are Bodhisattva of No Priority for All Are the Same, Bodhisattva of No priority for All Are Nothing, and a Burmese civilized and courteously polite person called Always Thank a Capitalist for His Immense Gratefulness for Your Food)

The apology of Burmakin IV

“Venerable Nagasena, do all the Bodhisattvas give away their wives and children, or was it only Vessantara?”

“All of them do.”

“But do those wives and children consent to it?”

“The wives do but the children do not due to their tender age.”

“But was it then a meritorious deed if the children were terrified and cried at being given away?”
(The debate of Milinda, the King of Pakistan, 100 BC)

Like the laughing lotuses,
which surpass the beauty of the stars mirrored in the water,

Exposing so fully

To the curious gaze of the radiant Moon

With its groping rays

For the delightful titillation (of renouncing).

(Queen Maddi to Vessantra on the way to Vankagiri after his donation of four horses of their chariot to four Bhramins)

King of Angels: My son, I lost this battle to Asuras. I lost your Grand Madam back to my enemies’ hands. However, the words of wisdom I learnt from my archrival enemy, Paharada recompenses all these losses. This is his apology (= defense) for the (rational) reason of Vessantara’s extraordinary actions that are commonly perceived as completely irrational.

(N.B: Vessantara is the future Gautama Buddha in his penultimate life before Buddha’s final life enlightenment)

Burmakin: In general, I can agree with you that Vessantara’s actions are inhumane, too much self-centered on gaining his omniprescient wisdom, and ignoring his moral responsibilities as a father for Jali and Kanhajina, and as a husband for Maddi. What did Paharada say?

Paharada: Ha ha ha, Marga. Before you are suing my Lord as an irrational man, let’s me ask you what is the meaning of the name of Vessanstara?

King of Angles: Why not I can? This is the name given by his mother who actually had been my principle consort in Heaven, Queen Phusati. Yes, she named him Vessantara, as he was born at a place of a commercial centre in their capital. The name, Vessantara means “merchant”, who are the warriors of the market, the architects of economy, the dudes of rationality, and the perfect examples of profit maximization in human nature.

Paharada: Well, this is the signification of all Bodhisattvas to be always paradoxical throughout their life. He, himself has the name, Vessantara, “the merchant”, for he has a purpose to fight against the mercantilism of those rational human beings.

King of Angels: The merchant’s psychology is an instrumental psychology inherent in human beings. All humans are instrumentally overwhelmed by desires to gain a profit and all their actions are always driven to have maximal utility values. This can be regarded as an undeniable fact in humanity. Economically, an action that can minimize your loss and get the maximal benefit from it is considered as a rational action by those instrumental human beings.

Paharada: You sound like that you also despise pragmatism of the mortal humans. Yes, they are just the craven to overprotect their own vulnerability, and to corrupt as much as they can to materialize their actions into enjoyable benefits. It seems to me that you also understand very well about the fact that Vessansara has a moral obligation to prove that this invincible psychological streak of instrumentalism of mortal men as a rational being is essentially on a wrong track. Adherence to instrumentalism will make those mortals so kinky in their justification of paving their ravenous means for achieving their desired ends.

Well, Marga, you probably have known it. Charity of a Boddhisattva is based on this critical purpose that is to fight SELF, your ego. The prima facie reason for charity of Bodhisattvas is not for giving but for renouncing. Charity is the prior principle of the ten perfection practices of Bodhisattva. Unless you have the courage enough to drop off what you have for the sake of others, how someone could be testified as an affirmative would-be-Bodhisattva? If the one who will claim the non-self principle to the whole universe has no courage to struggle against my SELF, my food, my money, my shelter, my wife, my son, my family, my race, my army and my country etc., how can the listeners have a heart to believe that this apparently ego-centered man’s principle is right.

King of Angels: Right. I have no suspect for his willingness to uncover the lid of closed humanity to show what it really is. However, I need to criticize his methods as too principle-centered to be regarded either as a rational action or with a morally sound reason. He should have possessed a sympathetic and fair heart. He should have respected the rights of an individual. I will say that his moral obligation is centered on utilitarian values. Apparently he has favoritism towards saving the whole lot of those ignorant people. On the other hand, he violated the fundamental rights of his own children, and wife.

Paharada, could you say that it is fair for those innocent children and the submissive Maddi: as they are only three in number so they should sacrifice their own integrity of life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for the supreme happiness that is to be enjoyed for the numbers of people that Bodhisattva intended to save?

I respect his great willingness to help the humanity but I can’t agree with his principle for doing such unfair action towards minority as small numbers. Humanity is not mathematics. The end (the whole bunches of people to be able to be saved) is not supposed to justify the means (sacrificing three persons) in this case. Even if this is for the purpose of helping the whole society as an unrivalled Messiah, this shouldn’t be done as moral imperative strictly prohibits it. Even though he is to become the Savior to us, in any event, he is not entitled to violate the ethical principles of humanity as fairness, justice and equality. I will sue that he only has the compassion for the numbers. He has not yet possessed a true compassion, as his actions are apparently not fair and equal to this very small number of people.

Paharada: OK, Marga. Let’s me set up a metadrama for critical reasoning about your argument. If your Tavatainta soldiers are injured in the war, who is the main surgeon for treating the warrior patients in your military hospital?

Marga: Well, we built a military hospital near a blessed great pond that is bestowed to us from the merit of my third consort, Sunanda. The pond is also named after her name and so it is for name of the military hospital. And she is the in-charge surgeon in this Sunanda hospital where our warriors could find some solace among those wrecks of wars. She is the caring mother for those devas who are injured, life-threatened, and suffering brain or heart deaths during the war.

Paharada: Let’s us do a thought experiment. Suppose that at one night, Sunanda is trying to survive a nearly brain death patient suffering from allergy. Five warriors who lost their organs get to your hospital emergency department. Suppose that these five warriors need the organ transplants immediately. The probability of surviving the nearly brain death patient is less than 1%. And this going to die patient’s body is perfect enough to support the organs of five warriors who are seriously in need of organ transplant within exacting five minutes or so. But the patient has not died yet and probably he would have been in coma for a few more days. Will you suggest that Sunanda should dissect this allergic patient's body to deliver his organs to those five wounded soldiers for saving their lives.

(To be cont. What is the rational reason of Vessantara Bodhisattva for renouncing his family? To overcome the causation of irrationality of humans, Intimacy)

The Middle Way II

Story continued from Stinging Satires II:

Stepped in a hurry is the Minister of Vague Information and Antirational Thinking Enforcement, Kyaw Hsan, a short statured guy with an enormous bald head. The Burmese junta stops dancing.

“Please, Your Royal Highness, this lowly worthless creature begs your royal pardon for his unpardonable stupid interruption. This time, I have truly good news. We have caught him with all his pervert colleagues!”

His Royal Highness, PFO, frowned for a moment. “Fool. Who did you catch? A duckling from Rangoon Kandaw Gyi (Great Royal Pond)?”

“No Excellency. It is the heretic, Great One. With a menagerie of animals-a bull, a karaweik, a peacock and a grandiloquent lady from New York. This pervert and his clandestine animal group has been infecting our people with ugly rumors that your majesty’s holy slogan, Humanity is the body is fraudulent. Right now the pervert is chained to the wall in the antechamber of Traders’ Hotel, your majesty’s unaffected archeological sanctuary office palace in the Burmese Saffron Revolution. Shall I bring him in?” The minister bends his fluffy weasel-face into a sycophantic grin.

A smile briefly flickers across his Royal Highness’ visage. “Bring the dog in”.

The prisoner, ragged and bruised, but unrepentant, is brutally flung to the floor at PFO’s feet. “What is your name, dog, and who is your breed?” Rising to his feet and defiantly brushing the dust off his tunic, the prisoner looks his persecutors straight in the eye and proudly answers, “My name is Bamakin. I descend from an ancient line that traces its roots back to the 1988 students’ uprising in Burma. My ancestor was the prophet, Burmakin the Great”.

His Royal Highness, the servants, Burmse military junta and the Minister Kyaw Hsan, cloud over with uncertainty and fear, but recovering their poise, they laugh dryly. PFO talks. “Well, we now know how your ancient lineage has gotten you. But your existence offends us. The only question is how to eliminate your existence”.

The Burmese junta whispers to PFO. “Supreme Sir, we have time to execute him. Let’s me admonish you an inconvenient truth. The life streak of your lasting holy dictatorship depends upon how we can break down the psychology of a man rather than annihilating him completely from the public scene. We need to learn how he militates against our sacred slogan, Humanity is the body.

PFO nodded his head clueing the Burmese junta to begin his interrogation.

“My son, I am sympathized that your age is too young to be executed in the Black Hole at this sunset. For what kind of reason, you do have the courage to militate against the Supreme Sir’s invincible slogan, Humanity is the body”, the junta queued with a tone of half-malice and half-uncertainty.

“No, Humanity is not the body. This slogan is the misguidance, a blocking stone and opaque darkness to humanity, as worthless as a wanton woman’s promise.” Bamakin blows so harsh words.

“My son, be careful about your words. Everything in the universe doesn’t happen without our body. Your eyes are for the purpose of seeing, your ears are for the purpose of listening, your nose is for the purpose of sensing a smell, so and so for your six senses. Nothing in the universe happens to you without your nerves. Humanity is just the nerves. That is so simple to be noticed by any human sage before the Great Sir has risen up. Incredible enlightening of his Royal Highness for our world citizens to be on the right path that is unprecedented before.”

Kyaw Hsan piggybacks a score in front of PFO as he thinks the Burmese junta is in the winning position against Bamakin.

“Well, my small child, I believe you are a Burmese Buddhist. There is a very reputable Burmese Buddhist maxim to hold the whole enormous universe in a simple formula. ‘Try to search for the Dharma, and you find out that this is the body yourself’. Humanity is as simple as it is. There is no need to entangle this simple formula with your absurd human thoughts that is always biased and can’t be justified.”

“No. Humanity is not the body. Kyaw Hsan. This slogan is leading towards an egoistical philistine end. By no means, it deals with the universal justice. By all means, it justifies every mean to maximize the utility values of human beings that can be morally unsound. A maxim is to be accepted if and only if this can be vindicated as a universal law to serve for the destined purpose where the justice and fairness should strictly prevail”, Bamakin puts forward his clear stand against the slogan.

The Burmese junta sets in as boorish Kyaw Hsan doesn’t understand eloquent words of this enemy of the State. The junta firmly believes that to annihilate the psychological motivation of an enemy is more important than the physical termination.

“My son, you are thinking about this slogan only from one side. Your thinking is just one version of truths in its material perspective. Well, even this materialism perspective is the rationality of all our human beings. It is accorded with the canonic conservative economic theory that holds that people are rational beings to maximize their own profits. Why people want to maximize profits? Because they want to be as comfortable as possible. People want to be as much comfortable as they can, for they have the bodies to get into suffering. There is nothing truer than Humanity is the body, for our human beings are always instrumental for the tendency to avoid pain and to gain pleasure from what we act. Shunning from pain and seeking pleasure are attributes of basic physiology inherent in human beings. My son, don’t be that stupid to blame humans for their rationality to protect their bodies”, the well-experienced junta seems to be more eloquent than Bamakin, the stripling boy.

Bamakin is standing in a defiant pause. He begins to understand that all this overprotected military dictatorship of the Burmese junta has been set up upon the exploitation of fundamental psychological instrumentalism of human beings that is to avoid pain and to gain pleasure.

The junta thinks that he is now in the advantageous position over Bamakin. He arrogantly raises his voice to continue.

“There is another perspective to see this slogan in a completely reductionist’s view. We hold these truths to be self-evident that everybody has his own version of truth, many times as I, the Burmese junta, via Kyaw Hsan, boldly claimed to the international community in the past. You will be surprised how this multi-purpose holy slogan fits into another version of truth at one side that is sheer contrast to this philistine attitude at the other side. Well, my son, truth lies only in the beholder’s eyes. Truth will sway when time passes away

“You, the Burmese junta, have so much effrontery to say everybody has his own version of truth. OK, let’s me listen to your another version of truth,” Bamakin encourages the junta to speak more.

“Let’s us understand another perspective to realize Humanity is the body. The question here is Can there be a meaning in life which is always unfulfilled, unsatisfactory for quenching the thirst of our bodily desires; whereas there, our body, is also full of pain, suffering, sickness unavoidably leading to ultimate death? Tell me, my son, can we find a real meaning in life in our body that is always swamp with pain and pleasure. There is no purpose, no meaning and no value in a human life in this perspective. People who don’t like the philistine end can hold this perspective as another version of truth.”

As usual, Kyaw Hsan piggybacks his boss’s words.

“There is an enlightened Bumese Buddhist maxim, young child. No matter how much you try hard to accrue your dividends for the whole life, your pathetic dividends finally become the shares for feeding the monks when you die. Well, my child, we Burmese are very smart to understand not to overindulge in pursuing this never fulfilling philistine end of the body. We are also enlightened enough to see the life as senseless, purposeless and meaningless at its real end. Certainly, you are too overwhelmed by Ah-Dharma concepts to see this other version of truth. Ha Ha, see yourself at this time at the near end of your life, all your thoughtful brain so aggrandized from your lifelong learning is nothing more worthy than Valium (diazepam) to relieve your pain when you are to face the hellish heat of the Black hole. That is humanity, my child, indeed, certain, and inevitable”.

The junta thinks they are now victorious.

“So what can you say, Bamakin. We assert that humanity is the body is true for both the pursuit of happiness and recognition of the worthlessness of human life at their opposite pole. You probably don’t notice why we could rule the Burmese so long despite all these brutal treatments, and why the Burmese can be so contented living in their abject poverty for such tedious long years is because they are very mature to understand the worthlessness of this filthy human body that is just for hosting worms and different countless pathogens who enjoy living there. As if a worm is still happy for its place among those filthy stuff in a pit latrine, so it is humans have ability to find the pleasure for their nervous bodies no matter how bad their situation is, while recognizing their useless ends of human life in ultimatum- that is reflected completely in his majesty's holy, absolute slogan Humanity is the body ”.

Bamakin is so silent with a grinned smile indifferent to all sententious words of his Royal Highness’s servants, the Burmse junta and Kyaw Hsan. His Royal Highness feels that rather than getting the secrets of what Bamakin’s thoughts hold, his servants are unraveling all the knots and knacks of their invincible matrix of Burmese military dictatorship. They need to solicit the hold of their enemy to buttress their overprotection of this supreme monarchy. His majesty flies into the interrogation.

“Dog, your countenance is showing that you still don’t agree with humanity is the body. Then tell me what you think. What is humanity?”

Bamakin smiles and his face looks as graceful as Almighty God.
He dictates these words in front of all his ignorant enemies.

“Humanity is the duty”

(To be cont…Humanity as moral imperative)

Stinging satires II

Year 950,586,431,888,522

Long ago, a prophet called Burmakin was lying in his death bed. He told his grandson these final words for a brave new world in the future.

“Everything in the universe will be simplified. Then nothing will become simple”

After Burmakin’s demise, children all over the world chanted this very short sentence as his foretelling for the future world.

“Trinity knows, and does everything so he will rule the world. The universal monarch will rise up, and either he knows or does nothing.”

Soon after, the sun of our solar system was deviated from its path. After eight minutes, when the gravity effect of the sun on the Earth was completely terminated, the Earth found herself travelling with a very, very rapid spinning speed in the space. The scientists at the 21st century thought that people would freeze to death after the first 8 minutes. However, unexpected things happen; mankind was saved by numerous eruptions of volcanoes which took place in a series to warm up the air. Of course, millions of lives were washed out by the gushing streams of lava. However, people were fortunate enough to capitalize the time of this lava age. They could build up the heat-producing factories to save the next generations of the evolving ice ages.

After countless generations, the flying earth found her place orbiting a giant black hole surrounded by a super cluster of stars. The people called this star group “Coma” because people of all races got to forget all the inheritances of their civilizations by a very mysterious influence from the astrologic power of this giant star group. The time loops were also warping back into the past rather than going towards the future, along which, the rational thinking of mankind was also reversed. So the Burmese military junta, the low in the long, long past, then became the most noble and the royally charismatic in the eyes of these modern people. Then, all people around the world, as well as land, sea and sky animals, even including bacteria, viruses and parasites, in their mutual consent, voted the Burmese junta as the absolute ruler of the world.

However, the Burmese military junta itself was traveling back in the time loops. In a similar fashion with the people, all their rational thinking is also upside down. Instead of enjoying their supreme rule upon the whole world, they were desperately finding Trinity of everything and nothing day and night to prove Burmakin’s prophecy to be true. For an exact match of his name as Trinity, He the One, should not be a normal human; rather an integration of three supreme entities. For not violating the principle of Burmakin’s prophecy, this absolute ruler of the universe was obliged to know and do everything, and nothing, too

No sooner did they find the Trinity, a bloodless coup was created. The Burmese junta coronated Him with all his accrued sublime power. The Burmese junta is contented itself as a servant, and also played the role of an irredeemable sycophant as well to serve the unrivaled power of this greatest monarch for his whole life. In the newspapers, the junta’s official position was described as the prime minster. However, in his Holy Royal Highness’ palace, the junta was just a puppy to the Supreme Him. Nonetheless, in his military headquarters, the junta was looking so graceful with hundreds of badges and bars blessed by the his Supreme Highness, manning his regular operations of spying, interrogating and eliminating every possible enemy that will disturb the security and stability of our holy planet that is now incredibly enlightened by his Royal Highness.

Of course, the Supreme Him was not a jobless vagabond on the streets of New York, Geneva and Rangoon before. Great thanks to Burmese U Thant and Leydon S Johnson, he has held a very official, critically important and monopolized job throughout the world history. Our Planet Earth now has the new name, called “The Planet Humanity” that is for honoring the past job of this monarch. All characters of the name of the monarch are decreed to be written in upper case. No linguist is capable of pronouncing his name, showing his untrammeled grandiosity different from the earthy human dictators in the past (future).

The intimidating name of his Royal Highness, the greatest, is PDNU_FECINU_OHW. People sometimes like to call him just Trinity as his name has three components. But they dare not call it, for not calling the monarch by its real name is worth a death penalty. The Trinity firmly believes that the name, Trinity, is just a generic and he doesn’t like to be ranked the same as the generic gods of Buddhism, Hinduism and Christianity. He holds these truths to be self-evident that not a soul on earth is able to see a testimony of how a single god of any religion can have saved the world. He claimed himself as the only and real Savior of mankind as practically, he himself , the only is able to show all the magic of his Savior’s ability before the naked eyes of the people.

Please use a mirror to be able to pronounce this great universal monarch’s name. But nobody in this future is able to pronounce it because when people see the transposed characters in a mirror, their newly devolutionary brains always transpose it back to the original position. The optic nerve tracts of new human brains no longer decussate in crisscross patterns to form optic chiasma but rather with running in a parallel fashion. The monarch, endorsed by the Burmese junta affirms the people that the mankind of his brave new age will no longer be in illusion about their perception as their rewired eyes are able to see the reality as the world itself is. The whole population of the world is convinced daily by the world leading newspapers like The Wall Street, The New York Times and The Washington post that were now under the complete control of the Burmese junta, the golden message for all humankind from his Royal Highness who claims that man has accomplished all his complicated tasks of civilizations and their history, and now human kind becomes completely rational, and absolute simple.

Let’s call this tedious monarch as short as PFO for his acronym. As he is travelling back very fast in the time loop, there is a chance that we could probably were charged a death penalty for not calling his actual name if he has finally reached our current time of 21st century. Don’t worry about it; I will march in front to receive his death penalty. As PFO is able to rise in the future because of Burmakin’s deathbed prophecy, if he were to come at present and to kill Burmakin for violating his supreme rule, he was never be able to rise up in the future as Burmakin has not been in the deathbed and has not made this prophecy yet at current time. He was not able to rise up in the future means he couldn't come to our present for carrying out his royal order for executing Burmakin.

Well, we are now in the great palace of His majesty, PFO.

“Yes, Nga SPDC, what is it now? You have promised me many actions for the past fifty years. Are you wasting my time with another progress report of setting up a new propaganda for these dumb people?”

“Please your Royal Highness, this lowly, worthless creature should die ahead. I am trying to propagandize the meaning of Trinity to your boar citizens. I am still confused about how nothing and everything is related to Trinity of your majesty”

“As long as you live, you should remember everything what I once told you before. You are the dullest Burmese on earth; how you had been bred up in your Burmese culture? Have you never seen before in your Burmese culture, the monks are reciting and so bright and tame people are able to repeat everything like the parrots? Savage, cave man, uncastrated!”

“I should really die, Venerable Sir. Please kindly reward me again your great message about the meaning of Trinity to your very unintelligent creature.”

His Royal Highness, PFO, frowns for a moment. Then he relaxed his lofty eye brows.

“OK, this is the last time I will recite the meaning of everything and nothing related to Trinity, no more in future, you swine!”

His Royal Highness spews the followings as if horses are galloping very fast on the main road, and SPDC, the sycophant, followed in a hurry what the Great He deciphered the code of Trinity.

“The meaning of Trinity for everything and nothing comes just in three Universal Truths. Ganahi, you Burmese SPDC! (Ganahi = a Pali word, remember)

Universal Truth Number One (in Burma): OHW knows everything but does nothing
Universal Truth Number Two (in Burma): PDNU knows nothing and does nothing
Universal Truth Number Three (in Burma): FECINU knows nothing but does everything

That is called Trinity for nothing and everything. Ganahi again, you SPDC, as numb as the donkey”

“So funny, sorry sir, many inexpressible thanks for your generic existence for Burmese, Sir”, SPDC immediately saved his laugh.

His Royal Highness raised his eyebrows again. He was smart enough to know that his puppy was laughing at him in secrecy.

“My servant, I think for such kind of forgetfulness of your human weakness, I Trinity suggest we should now practice the continuous medical education of Burmese Ministry of Health. This means I as the supreme dictator of the universe, will no longer let you chief executive officer to be able to stay in peace. In the future and throughout the past, I will reexamine you again and again whether or not you still remember the concepts I have taught to you.”

“Your command is my wish, sorry sir, my wish is your command, sorrier sir, and your wish is my command”. In his bad fear, SPDC was stammering. Probably it was called wipet in Buddha’s Dharma (reflexivity of Karma) as he had worn out his Burmese medical doctors in the past by keeping them always busy with deliberately created meaningless and endless exams, intending them not to raise these intellectual heads up against his avaricious military dictatorship.

“Let’s start the exam No. 1 now. You are now already too old to remember the meaning of words what I have taught you before”. His Royal Highness was so swift in his mind to start testing the memory strength of his toady, SPDC.

The exam started on the spot in oral form. For comforting the fear of his parasite, PFO is now seemingly on softer terms. Actually he distrusts this sycophant and is conspiring to get a digital record for the proof of this parasite‘s inability so that he could dismiss him later with evidence. Of course, his menial candidate, who in his whole life is ill-bred, stressed, intimidated, and burdened so that he could grapple with such subtle intellectual exam much better if he is oppressed under harsh conditions and condescending treatments. To treat him well is also a legerdemain strategy to make him face unusual conditions so that he was more prone to make the mistakes in answering his tricky questions.

“ My anayvatika (valuable disciple), what is the single, the only adorable, the mono absolute slogan of our Planet Humanity?”

“Great Sir, the single, the only adorable, no choice else, mono absolute slogan in the past, for the present and the forever future of our Planet Humanity, is Humanity is the body. Yes, your majesty, the body is the end of our humanity that is too simple to be able to be noticed by any gaudy sage of our foolish predecessors in all those useless civilization ages in the past. You, your majesty pioneered this simple concept out the first and foremost. You are so magnanimous to grant all your servants with this nirvana vehicle that led mankind to be reborn as the full-fledged rational and the irreproachably enlightened in your heavenly kingdom”

“Nonetheless, the end is not enough. After knowing the end for sure, you need to find out sinless, morally flawless, and non-culpable means to achieve this impeccably enlightened state. My dear follower, let’s me ask you more about your understanding of my approaches in bringing mankind to this Utopia kingdom of Ends”, PFO is eager to continue his questions, envisioning that tomorrow he is signing a demotion order for this unqualified creature who will be wrenched off by his uncatchable philosophical questions that are to be pursued now.

“Your wish is my command, Sir”. SPDC still needs a higher score to pass the intellectual test. In reality, he will not be a right person to catch up with such intellectual affairs of his smart master. However, the reverse time loops and the coma star effects also delude your majesty into asking the questions that the good common sense of his lowly servant is able to cope with.

“My lovely tutee, let’s we start the question for the means. What is the meaning of the bottom-up approach?”

“ Highly Sir, the bottom-up approach of your erudite theology means Bottom are always bottom and Up are always up “.

This time, your majesty is satisfied at the sharp snap and lucidly clear thought of the junta. This is the greatest paradigm that sets him up his unflappable confidence to do all his consecrated job for humanity in the past.

“You are absolutely right, to recapitulate in a single sentence, I will say bottom are assumed as never will have the ability to be up”.

“So bright sir, you can simplify these confusing two sentences into such a simple easy one”, the bootlicker is eagerly hoping that the questions will be ended soon.

“And what is the meaning of the human right approaches for the rightless people?”

“Unrivalled sir, human right approaches mean humans should never be left. So you should never think about leaving them once you approach them.”

“OK, but you have not answered yet about the rightless people”

“Why not, Sir. The rightless people simply mean these people can never be right, so you always need a correction for the people for becoming right. Me remember Sir, what you have instructed us your insight. As the first principle never to leave, is always satisfied by the second principle of the rightless people that says the human are never right. The prima facie is people are never right or will never be right. So you are never expected to leave. A circular reference of your Royal Highness’ humanity work.”

The Burmese junta seems to be becoming more and more brilliant as he treads along these questions. As time loops are warping backwards, the more difficult the question is, the better the junta is able to answer. PFO doesn’t notice it. Nonetheless, he upstarts noticing that the junta has known all the nuances of his ideas behind his brilliant strategies. If it is so, he is very unsafe as this servant is not that idiotic as he has underestimated. If the next question doesn’t work, probably he needs to take time to think another alternative clever strategy for shredding this coward.

“OK the last question to re-stew my great actions, what is the meaning of cultural relativism?”

“Lovely Sir, cultural relativism means in your (organizational) culture, you only deal, treat, recruit and promote the people who are related to you or who are your relatives. That it is, Sir. Now I win the exam with 100% score”.

The junta is rejoicing and dances with great joy as if a drunken female peacock spreads out her tail in front of his majesty's sovereign throne. His majesty is stoop-shouldered, feeling a great ache of humiliation imposed by his own servant that he looked down as too delinquent to catch up with his smart ideas of manipulating the universe.

“The post-colonial human rights era should be looked at as both an end and a means. The end is equal human dignity for all human beings, but the means is that of creating a space for human dignity to be affirmed. And it must be affirmed by the individual person everywhere. This is the process by which the universality of human rights is being realized in practice, out of the vision and project started by the UN in the 1940s”
